Hey, Dr. Az (DNP-PMHNP) here! I work closely with you to navigate your journey to better mental health. In my time with you I will listen carefully and together we will work on a treatment plan; often including therapy, medication, and lifestyle strategies. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, gender dysphoria, and gender-affirming surgery assessments. I started this practice for you, all of you! As a bi guy (with ADHD) I have experienced judgment and assumptions in healthcare services. These interactions put barriers to accessing the best care and I want a better experience for you. I believe everyone deserves high-quality care which affirms and celebrates who you are. With me, you are safe to be your full self, even if you are still discovering what that means. All genders, sexualities, kinks, and relationship styles are welcome, and my care will take into consideration your whole self. The intersection of my life experiences and formal training has uniquely placed me to specialize. Let’s work together to improve your mental health… without unnecessary shaming! My partner and I are originally from Australia, and I completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice in Tucson at the University of Arizona. As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I am able to complete various mental health assessments, provide psychotherapy, diagnose, treat and prescribe medications for all ages.
