Western Missouri Medical Center is a rural, non-profit, healthcare facility located in Warrensburg, MO. I work at Western Missouri Women's Heath Center as a Nurse Practitioner. As a nurse practitioner, I started out working in Women's Health and over the years have developed a sort of sub-specialty in Gender Health and Hormone Replacement Therapy. Currently, I offer gender-affirming health care services to Transgender/Gender Non-Binary patients within our Women's Health Clinic but we are in the process of opening a Gender Health Specialty Clinic. Our goal for the new clinic is for Western Missouri Medical Center to be a gender-affirming community resource that will allow patients to seek care closer to home. The specific services that we offer are dynamic depending on our patients needs but my goal is that they are always offered in a gender-affirming manner. We do offer Gender-Affirming hormone therapy. We do not currently offer any surgical services but I will always make the necessary referrals for our patients to receive the care that they need.
