Alfonso Pacheco

My care philosophy stems from my 25 years of training and experience in the field as a Clinical Social Worker. I have been trained at all levels of behavioral healthcare inclusive of inpatient, outpatient, partial-hospitalization, intensive-outpatient, day treatment, residential treatment, and most recently within an integrated primary care behavioral health model. I have also had the privilege of teaching part-time in the Master of Science in Clinical Psychology/ MFT-Program at Notre Dame de Namur University. As a bilingual and tri-cultural man of color, I am very conscious of the importance of giving back to the communities from where I started. For that reason, I have served as a volunteer-instructor for the Spanish-speaking Family-2-Family Program (Familia a Familia), and a group facilitator for the Spanish-speaking Family Support Group, both under the auspices of NAMI-San Francisco. Additionally, I have served on the Board of Directors for Our Family Coalition, and am presently appointed as a Board Member to the Marin County Behavioral Health Board.
