Allison Freeman
I identifying as neurodivergent & my personal journey has informed my practice deeply. Once a timid people-pleaser who put everyone's needs before her own, I have been able to do my own work in therapy and through my psychological education that has helped me come out on the other side as a confident, authentic human. I am honored to get to support my clients on their own paths to self-discovery and healing. As a clinician, I am kind, empathetic, collaborative, and transparent. I prefer to dive as deep as my clients are willing to go into their experiences and challenges when they are ready. I am not a fan of traditional small-talk and prefer to show up in session as one of my clients' most trusted people; someone that helps them to reflect, offer new perspectives, coping tools, and education regarding their experiences and needs. Together, we deconstruct any unhelpful narratives you’re holding, process events and moments that left you feeling uncomfortable, & validate your lived experiences to achieve improved emotional health and authentic living. Clients can expect to take away an improved sense-of-self accompanied by a more clear and intentional understanding of their personal boundaries and how to implement them. They will experience less stress and overwhelm in response to every day life demands/stressors. They identify answers to their big questions and will leave feeling less burned out, guilty, confused, or exhausted session by session. My clients can expect to feel a deep emotional weight lifted as we make meaningful progress together.
