Amanda Mazzone
I provide affirmative care to LGBTQ+ individuals 18 years old and over. My clients typically struggle with PTSD, OCD, ASD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Together, we can navigate issues such as exploring gender dysphoria, fear of disclosing your sexual and/or gender identity to others, transitioning, dating, and much more. Unfortunately, the LGBTQ+ community faces disproportionately higher rates of trauma than the general population and often may feel alone. My hope is to provide you with a safe and supportive environment in which to explore these feelings and decide what you want for your life. I specialize in trauma-informed care, utilizing EMDR, EMDR 2.0, Brainspotting, and mindfulness. I have seen the powerful effect these interventions have had on my clients. As a Gottman Level 2 trained counselor, I also enjoy working with couples and ethically non-monogamous relationships.
