Amitpal Johal

With over 15 years of experience in gastroenterology, I am currently the Chair of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Advanced Center for Endoscopy (ACE), Nutrition and Weight Management at Geisinger, where I lead a team of physicians, nurses, and staff in providing high-quality care to patients with digestive disorders. I am also an Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, where I teach and mentor the next generation of gastroenterologists. I have an MD degree from Medical College of Wisconsin. I have a clinical interest in colorectal cancer screening, colonoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound evaluation of pancreas and liver disorders.
