I’m Andi, a queer, neurodivergent, licensed clinical social worker and Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional offering therapeutic services in Illinois. I provide an affirming, supportive space for people navigating burnout, trauma, life transitions, institutional systems, and relationships. My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and relational. I’m proud to serve the community I’m part of and deeply committed to supporting clients exploring identity, sexuality, intimacy, and addressing the unique challenges of navigating oppressive systems. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed by chronic stress, exhaustion, and the impact of systems that fail to validate their lived experience in a heteronormative world. I believe therapy isn’t about fixing who you are — it’s about remembering what matters to you, reconnecting with your inner wisdom and strengths, and reclaiming your capacity for care, connection, and creativity. My work draws on professional experience in teaching human sexuality and comprehensive sexual health education, providing mental health care, and leading clinical teams and programs in both community and federal settings. As a systems thinker, I understand how heteronormativity, sexism, racism, classism, and religious trauma can erode our sense of worth and belonging. Together, we explore how to resist trauma responses that may show up as chronic stress, perfectionism, self-doubt, or relationship struggles. Maybe you’ve achieved career goals, built relationships, or reached milestones that once felt meaningful — yet still feel disconnected from your values and desires. Perhaps you want to deepen your relationship with yourself or learn how that relationship shapes the way you connect with others. In therapy, we’ll create space for you to feel seen, heard, and understood as your lived experience is honored. If you’re ready to create space for growth and healing, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Beyond the therapy space, I’m committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive service design and advocacy that improves healthcare access and experiences for the LGBTQ+ community — helping people build clarity and courage toward their desired futures.
