Angela Shankman

Hi there, I’m Angela. I am ½ of Good Nature Empowerment Center, a 100% queer owned and operated private practice. As queer individuals ourselves, we provide the LGBTQIA+ affirmative, trauma informed, non-pathologizing therapy that we have previously searched for for ourselves, sometimes with little luck. Our work strives to fill that much needed space in the therapy world. The main modalities we use are Compassionate Inquiry and IFS / parts work. Before starting this private practice, I worked in various treatment settings including nonprofit programs dedicating to serving those on probation and in residential addiction centers. I hold space for exploring these types of experiences with non-judgment and curiosity.
