She/Her

I am an LMSW and Supervisee in Social Work at Fairfax Place Therapy. Utilizing an integrative, relational approach, I am dedicated to collaborating with clients in their journey towards healing that brings meaning and joy to their lives. As a queer-identified clinician, I know the importance of having space to talk about the stressors and joys associated with having marginalized identities, and believe change happens most when clients feel safe, seen, and affirmed—whether or not identity is the focus. My clinical education and background involve working with LGBTQIA youth, adults, and their families, and with folks looking to find relief from trauma, anxiety, depression, and stressors involved in life changes. I tailor my style to meet the goals of each client, but often incorporate parts-work, somatic techniques, and nature-based therapies. As a clinician, I find that integrating the body into therapeutic work helps clients move from cognitive processing of trauma to a more embodied sense of safety and transformation. Before entering mental health, I worked as an LGBTQIA youth advocate in nonprofits and education. I am outspoken about my passion for partnering with trans and non-binary clients in ways that prioritize self-determination and empowerment. Clients often appreciate my laid-back manner, dry New England humor, and the space we create to talk about things that might feel off-limits elsewhere, like relationships, sex, religion, trauma, or body image. You’ll find me in sessions checking in about my client’s comfort, whether offering a blanket or a change in pace, and always wanting to see the latest pictures of your adorable pets. My goal is to remind you that, no matter what, you don’t have to face things alone.
