Barton Shulman
I am licensed in California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. In my practice, I work with individuals seeking personal insight, relief from anxiety or depression, and a variety of mental health concerns. I also work with couples and other relationships in their many forms. In addition to my staff position at a community mental health clinic, I'm glad to have the opportunity to bring my work into a private practice setting. I have many years of experience with the LGBTQ+ community, and as part of an interdisciplinary Gender Team providing services for trans and gender-expansive clients as well as others. I also have expertise working with Long-Term HIV survivors. I present frequently at conferences and organizational meetings about cultural humility and working with gender issues, and am a Gender Specialist as defined by Gaylesta, the Psychotherapist Association for Gender and Sexual Diversity.
