Benjamin Mahoney

Dr. Mahoney is a nurse practitioner who holds board certification in both adult-gerontology primary care and addiction medicine. He has extensive experience working with people living with a range of substance use disorders including opioid use disorder, stimulant use disorder, alcohol use disorder, and polysubstance use. In addition to his work in addiction medicine, Dr. Mahoney is also experienced in prescribing pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP & PEP) for HIV as well as DoxyPEP. Dr. Mahoney’s approach to care is patient-centered, highly collaborative, and holistic; believing that a strong partnership fostering open dialogue is key to patient’s achieving their health goals.
