Brad Garrison
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Ontario, Canada) and Canadian Certified Counsellor. I offer individual and relationship psychotherapy and sex therapy services and have a speciality in working with clients from 2SLGBTQ+ communities. I identify as a gay man and hold memberships with the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) and the Association of Sex Therapy in Ontario (ASTO; formerly BESTCO). Communication barriers, sexual dysfunction, disconnection, infidelity, personal identity, domestic abuse, trauma, and other kinds of psychosocial concerns are common challenges that lead people to seek therapy with me. Many of my clients are wanting to calm anxiety, develop coping skills, increase sexual satisfaction, reconnect with partners, or heal from trauma and abuse. Although I work with many concerns, I most commonly see clients who are seeking changes in their sexual, relational, and romantic lives. I specialize in sex therapy, couples / relationship counselling, and work with 2SLGBTQ+ and transgender communities and have experience offering service to diverse clients from marginalized, BIPOC, poly, and kink communities. Talking about sex, relationships, and mental health concerns can be vulnerable, challenging work that can lead to incredible transformations for individuals & relationships. I'll be with you to create a safe, comfortable environment where we can do the hard work and still leave space to laugh, celebrate the successes, and find moments of joy in the process.
