Brittany Barnette
I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship and life transition stress, trauma, and more. As a queer and gender-nonconforming person, I hold LGBTQ+ concerns with deep empathy. I believe deeply in the inherent worth, dignity, and wisdom of all people. I work well with folks who hope to understand themselves better and who are able to receive acceptance and warmth. My goal is to understand your situation from your perspective and to help you access your inner wisdom to navigate turbulence. I hope to meet you where you're at, and we can figure out a path forward together. My approach is very relational. I ground in person-centered therapy, but incorporate perspectives and techniques from CBT, DBT, ACT, and feminist/constructivist therapy modalities.
