What Clients Can Expect During the First Visit When you come for your first appointment at H4Y, you can expect a supportive, confidential, and individualized experience: • Warm welcome and intake: Your clinician or intake specialist will greet you, review basic administrative information, and answer any questions about confidentiality, billing, and insurance. You may be emailed or asked to complete intake questionnaires before or during this visit. • Comprehensive assessment: The first session typically focuses on understanding what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, history of stressors or trauma, strengths, and goals for care. This assessment informs a shared plan for treatment moving forward.
