I’m the founder and CEO of Banyan Tree Counseling & Wellness and Banyan Integrated Health, serving folks across Winston-Salem and Wilmington, NC. I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHC-S) and my biggest passion is making sure people feel seen, safe, and supported EXACTLY as they are. At Banyan, we’ve built something special: a queer-affirming, safe, and inclusive place where people can come as they are and do the brave work of healing. Our team of mental health therapists, dietitians, and psychiatric providers are down-to-earth, deeply caring, and committed to meeting you where you are, whether you’re unpacking old wounds, navigating life transitions, exploring your identity, or just trying to find a little more peace day to day. Banyan Integrated Health is our sister practice that focuses on psychiatric care, from thorough evaluations to personalized medication management. All done with the same level of compassion, collaboration, and zero judgment. We know that mental health is never one-size-fits-all. I’m proud that so many of our staff are also part of the LGBTQ+ community themselves, and all of us work from an affirming, trauma-informed lens. We believe therapy and mental health care should feel like a soft place to land... especially for queer and trans folx who’ve too often had to fight to be heard and respected.
