Charles Williamson

I am currently accepting new patients. As a gay provider, I have first hand experience with the challenges our community faces in finding a care provider with whom they can trust and be comfortable. I completed undergraduate studies at University of Alaska Anchorage in 1998 then completed the graduate Adult Nurse Practitioner program at University of California San Francisco in 2008. While in graduate school, I did research on gender affirming care resulting in my first publication: writing the chapter on preventive care for transgender individuals in UCSF's Clinical Guidelines for Advanced Practice Nursing (2nd edition). With over 25 years of experience, I am passionate about providing care for our community with kindness and understanding. I offer primary care, preventive care, gender affirming care, HIV care, PREP, doxy PEP and medications for addiction treatment.
