Chip Bowman

I am a transplant hepatologist and gastroenterologist at the University of Miami and Miami Transplant Institute, specializing in the care of patients with liver disease, including cirrhosis and those undergoing evaluation for or living with a liver transplant. I believe excellent medical care starts with making sure patients feel comfortable being open about who they are and what matters to them. I am committed to providing LGBTQ+ patients with respectful, affirming, and evidence-based care in an environment free of judgment or assumptions. My goal is to build a collaborative relationship with each patient so that we can make healthcare decisions together and ensure that every aspect of their care reflects their individual needs and goals.
