Hi, I’m Christy! I am a person-centered, trauma-informed therapist, and my approach is integrative and collaborative. I enjoy working together, finding ways to make meaning of your experiences, identifying patterns that no longer serve you, and building pathways toward the life you want to live. Narrative therapy is central to my work. I help clients explore the stories they’ve been told by family, society, systems, and themselves with the goal of reclaiming agency of their identities and futures. I also incorporate mindfulness-based practices and draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and neurolinguistic techniques to provide practical tools for emotional regulation, cognitive restructuring, and behavioral change. I am passionate about working with individuals navigating sexuality and exploring gender identity. I am poly and kink affirming, and I strive to create a nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where diverse relationship structures and expressions of intimacy are respected and understood. Areas of clinical interest include life transitions, substance misuse, anxiety, grief and loss, depression, and identity development. Whether you are moving through a major change, processing trauma, or simply feeling stuck, my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and clinical skill as you move toward greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust.
