Courtney Gray

Courtney is a master's-level clinical intern completing the final year of their Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Throughout their studies, they’ve received specialized training in narrative and group therapy, attachment, and neurodivergence. In their clinical practice, Courtney fosters an affirming space with their warmth, humor, and curiosity, honoring your pace as you explore and grow. Courtney’s therapeutic approach is grounded in anti-oppressive values, supporting you in unpacking how oppressive systems have impacted your worldview and limited your sense of possibility. They utilize narrative, existential, and psychodynamic approaches to explore personal stories and cultural experiences that shape your sense of self, the difficulties you experience in life, and the set of tools you use to address them. Courtney is passionate about bringing themes like political turmoil, climate crisis, and covid-consciousness into the therapeutic space, recognizing that social issues are deeply relevant to our mental health. Courtney believes that we heal in relationship to others. They hope the therapeutic connection will serve as a guide as you hone your desire and capacity to build other interpersonal connections and a broader community. They aim to nurture your ability to seek meaning, pleasure, and joy, even as you process experiences of harm, isolation, or trauma.
