Craig Pacheco
I am a Registered Dietitian based in Toronto/Tkaronto, Ontario. I am a cis-gender, gay man and my pronouns are he/him/his. I started this practice to help LGBTQ+ folks get reliable, inclusive support around their bodies and food. Whether it is around chronic disease management, settling a difficult digestive tract, or just living your best life, I can help! I practice from a health at every size approach. This means I celebrate body diversity, challenge scientific and cultural assumptions around health and wellness, and prioritize compassionate self-care. This also means that I reject the idea that weight is a strong indicator of good health, and prefer to focus on rejecting diet culture, promoting positive relationships with our body, and working on measurable health outcomes such as blood sugars, cholesterol/triglycerides, and blood pressure. I also practice from an intersectional perspective, acknowledging how factors like ethnicity, gender, age, and ability affect our lived experience.
