If you could give a newborn an advice, what would it be? My advice would be to feel. I believe most of the time people struggle to flourish in their life because we fear our own feelings and stories. We, as a society, have been made to believe our feelings, emotions, and thoughts have positive and negative essence. We are told our stories are not important but we all have our own stories and each of us deserve a time and space to have our stories heard. My goal is to create a safe and brave space to feel your emotions without judgement and with compassion; to reflect your own strength and voice to speak your own story; and help reveal your truest Self. I believe the most effective approach is based on my client’s needs and creating a strong therapeutic alliance. My understanding of people is rooted in Narrative Therapy. When working with people with trauma, my primary treatment approach is Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Internal Family Systems model. While working with children, I am familiar with Person-Centered Play and Sand Tray Therapy. I was born and raised in the Philippines and immigrated to the USA with my family when I was 12 years old. I currently have two dogs and two cats. I am a foodie and adventurer. One of my ultimate goals is to own an animal sanctuary.
