Cydney McKinnie

Cydney is a Licensed Professional Counselor that serves the Joplin area and is licensed in Missouri. Cydney works with a variety of client populations ranging from young adults to older adults. They have previous experience with areas of counseling including anxiety/stress, mood disorders, ADHD, and personality disorders. Cydney uses an integrative approach to counseling that includes a mixture of motivational interviewing, compassion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, etc. Cydney has a heart for working with clients to help them identify their goals and strengths within themselves. They are an active learner and compassionate about helping people by providing a safe space for them to express themselves. Cydney currently sees clients through Applied Psychological Services. They take most private insurances, all forms of Medicaid, and cash pay.
