Dana Bowerbank
Hi, and welcome! 🙋🏻♀️ I opened my mental health practice in mid-2021 where I’ve been able to offer therapy to adults in Arizona (online and in-person). Showing up to talk to a stranger about the most personal, and often painful, details of your life can be such a nerve-wracking part of the therapy experience for most of us. My ultimate goal is to help you feel safe, seen, and valued. While I enjoy the research and study of evidence-based practices such as Client-Centered, Psychodynamic, ACT, and IFS; I recognize the value of genuine connection and authentic interactions. My experience includes navigating issues related to self-esteem, anxiety, identity, Neurodivergence (ADHD/ASD), trauma, & healthy boundaries. Creating an accepting, affirming space for LGBTQIA+, Marginalized, and Neurodivergent folks is a priority. I really want you to feel welcome and worthy of quality care. Those who benefit most from therapy with me typically have started working on themselves & feel ready to go deeper, but may feel stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed. Our work together will be collaborative and build on your strengths to support growth & healing. I hope to offer a space to feel both validated and challenged while we sort through where Life has brought you. There’s just no quick, magical fix for complex issues (I promise I’ve checked!), but having the support of someone who wants to help you feel brave enough to venture into the inner realms of your heart and mind can be wildly healing. If you're ready and think we'd be a good fit, please reach out - it's my privilege to work together with you!
