As a gay male I have always had an interest in LGBTQ+ healthcare. I started learning more about this and providing this care while in residency and now have 3 years of experience providing this care. I have developed a deep understanding of the unique health needs of LGBTQ+ individuals. My training has equipped me to provide comprehensive family medicine with the following LGBTQ+ focuses: HIV prevention (PrEP), STI prevention (Doxy PEP), and gender-affirming hormone therapy for adults. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where all patients feel respected and valued. I value the shared decision making model of healthcare and believe I can best serve my patients by giving them all the information they need to make a decision for themselves about their healthcare instead of forcing treatments or medications on them. Through my personalized approach, I strive to empower LGBTQ+ individuals to take charge of their health and live full and fulfilling lives.
