Darby Robertson
I offer liberation-oriented mental health and substance use counseling for folx pursuing meaningful healing from oppressing, dehumanizing, and alienating systems. I provide individual and relationship counseling (for intimate partners, adult siblings, friends, business partners, and other significant relationships) and work with adults of all genders across Washington State via telehealth. Clients often come to me wanting to work on anxiety, shame, identity development, relationship issues, attachment wounds, trauma, addictive behaviors—ranging from substance use to perfectionism and over-functioning—or just generally seeking to improve their relationship to themselves, others, or substances. My goal is to assist you in better understanding yourself, the people around you, and how your relationships and life experiences have shaped who you are. As an attachment-focused counselor, the therapeutic relationship is at the center of my practice. It is my profound hope that our work together will help you feel understood, accepted, and empowered.
