Dasia Colvin
Hi, my name is Dasia! I’m trauma-informed LMSW passionate about supporting individuals ages 13–45 through life’s transitions and challenges. I specialize in working with children, young adults LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, and my clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, stress, identity exploration, trauma, and navigating major life changes. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each client’s unique story. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, solution-focused therapy, psychoeducation, and talk therapy. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” but about fostering greater self-understanding, resilience, and healing at your own pace. If this sounds right for you feel free to reach out via email and let’s chat.
