Dovie Watson
Dovie Watson, MD, MSCE is a physician-scientist in the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Watson’s clinical practice and research program focuses on sexual health and LGBTQ health with particular attention on accelerating equitable HIV prevention and treatment outcomes among Black LGBTQ+ populations. She is a faculty member in the Penn Eidos LGBTQ+ Health Initiative. She also serves as a member of the Penn LGBTQ+ Health Program and Penn Health Equity Alliance in the Penn Medicine Center for Health Equity Advancement, leading professional development workshops on LGBTQ+ health disparities for medical providers across the Penn Medicine health system.
