Dr. Wonbin Jung
Hello there! My name is Wonbin. As a queer, Asian, first-gen immigrant therapist, I get the complexity of holding multiple identities and the intersections that shape who you are. My goal is to create a space where all of you—your experiences, struggles, and victories—are heard and honored. I see myself as your co-pilot on the journey to self-discovery, self-compassion, and understanding. It's an honor to walk with you as you explore your true self, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. While I'm trained as a brief systemic therapist (fancy term for spotting the patterns in relationships), at my core, I’m a relational therapist who digs into the stories and connections that shape your world. I’m here to listen, ask the tough questions, and help bring out the hidden parts of your story—those pieces that are often overlooked or silenced. I believe when your story is heard and seen, it can heal and transform. In traditional therapy spaces, you may have felt like your experiences were reduced to a diagnosis or pathologized. With me, I’ll not only honor your pain, but also celebrate your moments of joy, success, and resilience. It’s about interrupting those negative patterns that keep you stuck and highlighting the strengths that can propel you forward.
