Em Osborne
I work with adults and youth of all identities, specializing in therapy with 2SLGBTQ+ folks. I use an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities and work closely with clients to determine which approaches work best for them in meeting their goals. I view therapy as a deeply collaborative process, where we are working together towards the change you hope to see in yourself and in your relationships. As a queer, disabled person, my approach is firmly rooted in social justice. I work from a structural analysis, which recognizes the ways oppression impacts our wellbeing. We don’t live in isolation from the structures surrounding us. I believe that therapy must recognize how systemic power and privilege impacts our relationships with ourselves and others.
