Hello! I'm Dr. Emily, Sarasota Out Awards Favorite Therapist of 2024. I'm a queer psychologist passionate about making therapy a space to reflect and learn. I have firsthand experience supporting a neurodivergent partner and being part of a multiracial family. I believe therapy should equip you with tools to handle life’s ups and downs. You’re the expert on your life, child, or family—and I work collaboratively to create individualized treatment plans that fit your unique needs and goals. I work with LGBTQ+ parents and parents of LGBTQ+ kids to manage stress, support affirming parenting, and navigate personal concerns. As a PCIT-certified therapist, I help families address behavior challenges like tantrums, defiance, and school issues with practical, evidence-based tools. I'm a proud LGBTQ+ affirming psychologist dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive therapy space. Additionally, I utilize behaviorally based interventions to develop well-defined and easy to implement behavior plans for individuals and families struggling with problem behaviors or stressful routines.
