Erin Switzer

Dr. Erin Switzer grew up in Freelandville, Indiana and currently resides in Marshall, Illinois with her husband Troy and five cats. She completed her undergraduate education at Vincennes University majoring in Chemistry Education and graduated from Optometry school at the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2014. She started Eyes on Main in 2023 to fill the need for quality eye care in her community. The driving principles behind Eyes on Main are equality and compassion. Financial status should not serve as a barrier for access to high quality healthcare. At Eyes on Main, our goal is to make every person feel welcome, accepted, and understood when they are in our office. Dr. Erin enjoys caring for and connecting with patients of all ages. Outside of optometry, Dr. Erin enjoys disc golf, video games, snugglinging with her cats, and hiking. She loves traveling and is a bit of a foodie. She is currently studying Spanish to aid in her travels and help her better connect with her Spanish speaking patients.
