Sexuality & gender are woven into every aspect of our lives. Whether it is going through puberty, questioning gender or sexual orientation, figuring out dating, relating to a partner, exploring desire or alternative relationship models, or adapting to the changes of aging, sex therapy can help people navigate these challenges and build skills for improved health, pleasure, and connection. Sex therapy is very similar to other forms of mental health counseling, often focused on talking through your concerns, thoughts, and emotions. I see individuals, couples, constellations, and family groups. I work with clients who are facing emotional pain or discomfort around aspects of sexuality. Specifically, I specialize in helping youth (13 and older) who are questioning their gender and/or sexuality, people practicing consensual non-monogamy, neurodivergent clients, sexual outsiders (kink/BDSM), and older adults experiencing changes in sexual function. I know what it's like to feel as though problems are overwhelming and impossible to talk about. I choose to practice sex therapy because sexuality and gender are central to our lives, yet often difficult to discuss. As a counselor, my goal is to co-create a safe space with you, so you can reach your goals. You are not alone. Reach out to make an appointment.
