Dr. Geneva (she/they) is an experienced Latinx (Mexican-American/Xicanx) licensed clinical psychologist in practice since 2005. I identify as a woman of color and provide affirmative, empowerment-based, relational, depth-oriented (psychodynamic) therapy to adults. I also provide clinical consultations, supervised professional experience, and therapy for other mental health professionals. I specialize in working with BIPOC (Black/Indigenous/People of Color), LGBTQIA+ and gender nonconforming clients. Areas of focus for treatment vary but often center around anxiety, traumatic experiences, body positivity, identity-related concerns and spirituality (including difficulties with belief systems).
