Grace Gautier
Therapy is a way to heal when the world has been unkind to us. I work with an open heart and mind and want to meet whatever you’re facing alongside you. Our time will be spent talking through whatever feels heavy. My goal is for us both to understand you better than when we met. My approach is client-centered and focuses on compassion, acceptance, and narrative processing. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and partners. My clinical interests include working with identity exploration, spirituality, and people with autism. As a trans woman of color, I have experienced my own healing journey and understand how tough a spot you’re in as you look for a new therapist. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Chicago and in my spare time I love to skateboard, beekeep, and make art with my friends. I’m glad you’re looking for help today; this is an act of self-love. If you want to meet and see if we’re a good therapeutic fit, please reach out. Regardless of whether we work together, I wish you the best in this next part of your life.
