Hali Ledet
Hali is a Certified-Nurse Midwife who specializes in providing patient-centered, affirming reproductive and sexual health care for patients from adolescence through adulthood. She provides services including family planning, prenatal and postpartum care, childbirth education, contraception, STI testing and treatment, well person care including pap smears, menopausal care, and gender affirming care. Originally from Lafayette, La., Hali received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Master of Public Health in Maternal Child Health from Tulane University in New Orleans. She then earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University so that she could provide holistic care to birthing people and their families across the lifespan. Her experience in the realm of reproductive and sexual health is expansive and has included roles in academia, community engagement, and the clinical space. Hali is passionate about reproductive justice and health equity. As a queer Black woman, she is especially committed to addressing racial disparities in health outcomes and providing compassionate, high-quality care for LGBTQIA+ folx. She believes healthcare belongs to the community and gives gratitude to the Black Southern Grand Midwives who paved the way before her.
