She/Her, They/Them

I provide trauma-informed, consent-based care for those who need relief from the pain and stress of everyday life. Since the fall of 2019 I have been applying my understanding of movement and how we store emotions and events in our bodies to my work as a massage therapist. 22 years of steady yoga practice, nearly four years teaching trauma-informed yoga, & 8+ years of working in farming & landscaping are the basis of that understanding. My style could be described as thorough, detail oriented and affirming. I believe in consent based work that allows for open communication between client and therapist and I enjoy empowering people to listen to the wisdom of their bodies. Using a foundation of Swedish massage, trigger point release, and variations of pinning and stretching the muscles I aim to relieve pain and increase mobility. Often I will use passive movement (therapist is moving client’s limbs) or ask the client to move through a range of motion to increase pressure, create stretch or grant access to more of a muscle’s surface area. When not working I spend time with family, read novels, enjoy nature, and make things with my hands. I look forward to working with you!
