Isha Mittal
Dr. Mittal (they/them) is a Family Medicine Physician who will start providing care at Austin Regional Clinic (East 7th Location) in Oct 2026. At this location Dr. Mittal will provide care to adolescents and adults. They have always been passionate about health care access, especially for LGBTQIA+ people, getting their BS in Public Health at UT Austin and their Master’s in Public Health at Columbia University. Dr. Mittal has worked as an adolescent sexual health educator and served as a GLMA fellow and the president of their medical school’s chapter of the Medical Student Pride Alliance. Dr. Mittal strives to be a provider who listens to and learns from their patients in this constantly evolving world. They hope to provide primary care that is individualized and affirms a person’s sense of self. They provide STI/HIV prevention and treatment, gender affirming care, preventive health, and chronic disease management. When Dr. Mittal is not at the clinic, they can be found creating content for their TikTok channel “GenderDefenders,” cooking for their partner & friends, or cuddling up with their cat Zucchini.
