Ivana Viani

Dr. Viani is a Harvard- and UCLA-trained, board-certified psychiatrist who combines clinical excellence with compassionate, affirming care for LGBTQIA+ youth and their families. She helps young people better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and build on their strengths in a supportive, welcoming environment. Combining therapy, medication management when indicated, family support, and referrals to community resources, Dr. Viani takes a holistic approach to helping young people with a variety of mental health and neurodevelopmental concerns while keeping their individual experiences, values, and strengths at the center of care. She has particular expertise in working with neurodivergent and twice-exceptional (2e) youth - young people whose autism, ADHD, learning differences, or mental health challenges coexist with exceptional strengths, talents, and giftedness. Dr. Viani sees patients in person in Los Angeles and offers telehealth appointments to individuals and families throughout California, Colorado, and Massachusetts.
