Jada Choate

Hi, I’m Jada. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Alchemized Mind PLLC, a telehealth therapy practice serving adults across Maine and Illinois. I work with LGBTQIA+ clients who are looking for a therapist who not only affirms their identity but understands the deeper emotional and social realities that can come with living authentically. Many of my clients come to therapy navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, identity exploration, or the stress of existing in systems that were not built with them in mind. Many of the people I work with are also exploring questions around identity, belonging, and how to build a life that feels aligned with who they truly are. For LGBTQIA+ people, anxiety and stress often exist within a broader social context, including family expectations, community dynamics, and systems that have not always been affirming. My goal is to offer a space where you can show up fully as yourself without needing to educate your therapist about your experience. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in the belief that everyone deserves care that respects their autonomy, identity, and lived experience. Therapy with me is a space where you do not have to explain or defend who you are. Instead, we focus on helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to the life you want to build. I offer telehealth therapy for adults across Maine and Illinois and often have availability to schedule new clients within the same week.
