James McCormac

James is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 11 years of experience helping others achieve better mental and physical wellness. He is an inclusive practitioner that welcomes all cultures and backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+IA community. James has extensive experience treating mood and depressive disorders, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia/psychosis, insomnia, bulimia nervosa, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. James also holds an additional American Psychiatric Nurses Association certification to treat clients with substance use and abuse. Focusing on using the latest evidence-based research and treatment modalities, James works collaboratively with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, therapists, and social support systems of the clients to reach optimal results. By bringing empathy, compassion, and knowledge into a welcoming environment, he strives to build a supportive relationship with each client. Our mental wellness is just as important as our physical health. Taking the first step by making an appointment can be the most difficult.
