Hello, and welcome. I'm Jana Sackett, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing virtual and in-person psychiatric care for adults throughout California. I offer an affirming, nonjudgmental space where individuals from all backgrounds can explore their mental health, identity, relationships, and life experiences with openness and authenticity. I am committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming care and believe every person deserves to feel respected, understood, and supported in their journey. My practice combines evidence-based medication management with a holistic approach that considers the emotional, physical, social, and personal factors that influence well-being. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, life transitions, stress, and challenges related to self-esteem, identity, and personal growth. My path to psychiatry was shaped by witnessing the impact that trauma, chronic illness, and loss can have on individuals and families. Through my background in emergency nursing and advanced psychiatric training, I developed a deep appreciation for the importance of compassionate, personalized care that honors each person's unique story.
