I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I evaluate and treat a wide range of psychiatric diagnosis. When patients reach out to setup services they have to do new patient paperwork which includes family and social history. At the first appointment we evaluate what is going on and once a diagnosis is given we discuss treatment options. I treat children of at least the age of 6 through teenage years, young adults, adults and geriatric patients. I am part of the LGBTQ family as I am gay and treat all my patients as a person and sexual orientation and gender identity do not determine my treatment for a patient. I care for many LGBTQ patients and have for the past 2.5 years.
