Jenna Landry
Hello! I am a clinical social work intern at Kinship Therapy in my final year of training to become a clinical social worker. My areas of clinical focus and interest include trauma, gender and sexuality exploration and transition, queer and transgender folks, anti-oppressive, harm reduction, substance use/addiction concerns, attachment, relationships (non-monogamous, polyamorous, open, monogamous, etc). My approach to therapy is client-centered, relationship-based, and acknowledges how systemic oppression impacts all of our mental health. In therapy, my goal with you is to co-create a space of trust, authenticity, and curiosity in which we can begin to move towards healing, understanding, and hope. My areas of interest include gender and sexuality exploration in adults and youth, developmental trauma and PTSD in adults and youth, chemical health from a harm reduction lens, and relational work with monogamous and non-monogamous couples and polycules. I am a white, queer practicum student working on my final year at the University of Minnesota to become a clinical social worker. Community and connection are vital to the healing journey, and I am grateful to be able to offer connection by hearing your story and navigating the next chapter with you.
