I am a queer woman in a lesbian relationship. I provide individual and relationship therapy to folx 18 and over who have struggled to find a therapist who truly understands. My approach works through the lens of queer culture and non-traditional couples dynamics. I am warm, empathetic, and direct, focused on boundaries and the effects of our behaviors, good intentions or otherwise. No heteronormative assumptions. No shame. Just understanding and a little quick wit to keep the process fun. (Yeah, I said fun.) I’ve been told my whole life that I have the aura of someone to whom you can tell anything. This works well in therapy, but in real life… I’ve heard some things I will never unhear. I do this work because I love people. I love to laugh. I love how insane our bodies and minds are and how well they can heal themselves with a little bit of help from therapy. My job is to show you how to take control of your experiences so you can be more authentically you. In therapy, you can expect us to talk like real people. No buzzwords, no worksheets (unless you ask) – just a therapist who’s lived a whole lot of life, and you, a human trying to learn and evolve. I deliver affirming, evidence-based, trauma-informed care wrapped in relatability. I am a WPATH trained, seasoned gender therapist. My office is a warm little therapy nook where you can feel safe, feel seen and heard.
