Jenny Hsuan Fang Hsu

Hi, I’m Jenny Hsuan Fang Hsu, M.C., RCC, a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Vancouver, BC. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a cisgender, queer-identified, middle-class, Asian immigrant, Taiwanese Canadian woman. I offer counselling in English and Mandarin for individuals, couples/partners, and families, both in person and online. Many clients come to me when they feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in painful relationship, family, or life patterns. I support people navigating relationship conflict, family expectations, work stress, burnout, chronic pain, identity and sexuality exploration, grief, and ICBC/car accident-related stress. My lived experience helps me understand how Western and Asian cultural values, family expectations, identity, belonging, and relationships can shape how people feel and connect with others. I do not assume I know your story, but I bring curiosity, care, and cultural humility into the room. During a first session, we will move at your pace. You do not need to have everything figured out. We can talk about what brings you to counselling, what you are hoping for, and what kind of support may feel helpful. My goal is to offer a warm, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported.
