Jess Garman
Hi, I'm Jess. A trauma-informed, EMDR therapist. I use a collaborative approach to therapy and often pull from a variety of modalities (Somatic Therapy, parts work, CBT, Narrative Therapy + Art Therapy) tailored to you. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up fully as yourself - without having to explain, minimize, or edit the parts of you that make you who you are. My practice is intentionally LGBTQ+ affirming, inclusive, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I work with all kinds of clients, with a particular specialty in working with polyamorous couples, trans folks, and people building nontraditional families, as well as supporting queer relationships, identity exploration, and kink-aware, consensual nonmonogamy dynamics. I work with people navigating anxiety, overwhelming life transitions, relationships, identity, and all the complicated, beautiful, messy moments in between. I bring warmth, curiosity, honesty, and a little bit of humor into the therapy room, because healing doesn’t have to feel clinical or impersonal. Whether you’re looking for support through a specific challenge or simply want a space to better understand yourself, you’re welcome here. My goal is to create a relationship where you feel genuinely seen, respected, and safe enough to be real.
