Jess Witt
Jess creates a welcoming, affirming space where individuals can feel truly seen and supported on their health journeys. She understands how overwhelming it can be to navigate conflicting nutrition advice, diet culture messaging, and vague or dismissive healthcare guidance. Whether someone is struggling with anxiety around food, feeling disconnected from their body, or seeking gender-affirming nutrition support, Jess provides compassionate guidance to help them reclaim their time, reduce stress around eating, and make choices that align with their unique needs and identity. With a client-centered and a Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned approach, Jess believes in biochemical individuality, celebrates body diversity, prioritizes bodily autonomy, self-compassion, and sustainable, meaningful change. She meets people where they are, honoring their lived experiences and empowering them to build a nourishing relationship with food and their bodies—on their own terms. Jess holds a Master’s in Nutrition & Integrative Health from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). She is a Certified Nutrition Specialist® (CNS) through the American Nutrition Association and a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in the State of Maryland. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals navigating life transitions, improving their relationship with food, and embracing nourishment as a form of self-care. She is committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community, including those seeking gender-affirming nutrition care. Before her nutrition career, Jess spent over a decade in public accounting and health insurance, holding a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master’s in Forensic Studies. Inspired by her own journey toward holistic well-being, she made a career shift to align with her belief that true wealth comes from vibrant health. Rooted in the rhythms of nature and the body’s innate wisdom, Jess is passionate about helping others find balance, joy, and vitality through nourishing choices. She believes that health is deeply personal and that evidence-based nutrition and integrative care can be powerful tools for fostering self-trust, resilience, and a deeper connection with oneself and the world.
