Jessica Polins

Jessica Polins is a NYS licensed physician assistant practicing in the Capital District the last six years. She obtained a degree in natural science from Fordham University, NYC in 2014 and her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies with honors from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2018. Jessica has been practicing in the Capital Region since the start of her medical career and has extensive inpatient and outpatient experience working in urgent care, primary care, hospital medicine, and most recently she has found a passion for critical care medicine working alongside Dr. Chrystal Price. Outside of work, Jessica loves spending time with her 3 pugs, enjoys gardening and being in nature, and also recently created a natural toxin-free candle business. Jess also has extensive first-hand experience dealing with life-long weight management struggles, gut health optimization, and learning how to prioritize her mental health/wellbeing, having herself grown up a product of “diet culture.” She has found significant fulfillment in her career in the ICU, but feels she has so much more to offer in terms of helping others optimize overall health and wellbeing, and empowering her patients to take back control of their life. Jess is also an LGBTQIA+ ally and cultivates a welcoming safe space for gender-affirming aesthetics care. Jessica is very excited and eager to begin pivoting toward mastering wellness and disease prevention, aesthetics care, and longevity medicine.
