Jordan Dellinger
Jordan is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and clinical supervisor. She earned her Masters of Social Work with an interdisciplinary specialization in Disability Studies and her Bachelors of Arts in Final Art from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Jordan has experience with adults and adolescents in both community and inpatient settings. She specializes in neurodiversity and trauma but has experience supporting clients with a variety of emotional and behavioral health concerns such as depression and anxiety. She has almost fifteen years of experience working with neurodivergent people of all ages. She is a neurodivergent-affirming and queer friendly therapist. Neurodivergent people often come to therapy because of the painful societal pressure to conform to neurotypical standards. Jordan offers neurodivergent affirming therapy to support clients in exploring the strengths of their unique neurotypes and managing the disabling aspects of neurotypical society. She believes the client is the most important part of therapy and prioritizes a strong therapeutic relationship with a focus on trust, gentle humor, and a nonjudgmental attitude. She loves guiding clients in seeking meaningful change through identity-affirming, strengths-based, and trauma-aware interventions. Interventions are tailored to each client and include, but are not limited to, somatic psychotherapy, assertiveness training, mindfulness practice, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
