Originally from the Coachella Valley in Southern California, I earned my MD from the David Geffen School of Medicine through the UCR/UCLA Thomas Haider Program and conducted my residency at the UCLA/SFV Psychiatry Training Program. I have expertise in human sexuality, sexual disorders, ethnic and cultural issues, LGBQI+ issues, and Transgender health issues. I am currently an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry and neuroscience at the UC Riverside School of Medicine, assistant medical director at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, and board certified in Addiction Medicine and Psychiatry.
